Hello Folks,
Our next meeting will be held on THURSDAY 28TH OCTOBER @ 7.30 IN VARSITY (on the second floor). It is the same venue as we had our first meeting but just a reminder if for whatever reason you didn’t attend that meeting the venue is just across from your University.
A FREE DRINK of your choice will be on offer to those who didn’t attend the first meeting but come to the next meeting!
For all those attending can I ask you to bring £5 as this will cover your official membership to Huddersfield Conservative Future and the expenditure the group acquires in the future e.g. cost of publicity material etc but afraid it will not cover everything e.g. the cost of attending a partner event like some of us attended in Leeds the other week.
There are positions still available to be on the committee and we are now going to extend the deadline of Today to that of during our next meeting.

If you would like to be on the committee but the position is filled or we have not advertised it no worries as we as a society group are happy to negotiate in swapping positions or creating new positions. However you must get in touch ASAP or alternatively raise your interest (as some did from our last email) at our next meeting otherwise you might not get your preferred choice on the committee!
Also at this meeting we will be discussing our first political action day, our target seats, social events etc I will also be asking for volunteers to join me on the ‘march against the rise of tuition fees which will cost only £5 and will mean a trip to London!
I hope to see you there but again just in case you need reminding there is no problem if you can’t attend for whatever reason as this is your group so you can get involved in as little or as much as you like!!
